Liz Mitchell is a professional saxophonist and woodwind tutor based in Cambridge, UK.
A member of Terrorvision's live lineup since 2016, Liz performs at venues and festivals across the UK and Europe. She also plays with Cambridge ska band Big 10, having supported Bad Manners and The Beat, and performs regularly with The All New Blues and Soul Revue.
Session and recording credits include Abbey Road Studios and live appearances on BBC Radio Cambridgeshire.
With a degree in Jazz Composition and over 15 years of teaching experience, Liz offers saxophone, clarinet, and flute lessons from her purpose-built studio in Cambridge, as well as online tuition. She works with students at all levels, from beginners to advanced, across ABRSM and Trinity syllabi.
Available for session work, live performance, and private tuition.
Liz is available for live performances at festivals, corporate events, weddings, and private parties.

Liz is an experienced woodwind tutor, teaching saxophone and clarinet to students at all levels, from beginners to advanced. She offers lessons from her purpose-built home studio in Cambridge and also provides online instruction for students further afield.
For those wanting to learn an instrument for the first time, or returning after years away from playing, her informal teaching style builds confidence and gets students playing music they enjoy.
Liz additionally offers instruction in jazz harmony and improvisation. For students wanting to learn to jam and improvise but lacking confidence in music theory, she helps build foundational knowledge and musicianship skills.
