Liz is an experienced woodwind tutor, on saxophone and clarinet, teaching students at all levels, from beginners to advanced. She teaches from her home studio in Cambridge but also provides lessons online for those further afield!

 

If you’ve always wanted to learn an instrument, or you’ve not played since school and want to pick it up again, Liz’s informal teaching style will build your confidence and get you playing the music you want to play. Her purpose-built teaching studio provides the ideal environment for students to feel relaxed and comfortable as they learn.

Liz can also help you with jazz harmony and improvisation. If you want to learn to jam and improvise, but feel your lack of theory is holding you back, she can set you on the right track, building confidence and musicianship.

Liz has extensive experience of both the ABRSM and Trinity exam boards, and is familiar with both the Jazz and Classical syllabus.
